Main ‘take-aways’ from the perspective of the expert

A much better understanding of HE in Azerbaijan.  A realisation that Universities in Azerbaijan are keen to adapt the Bologna approach.  An understanding of the willingness and desire of staff to engage with colleagues in European Universities.  The complexity of the DNA of the country with conflicting pressures, strict state control yet an ambition to progress and modernise the HE system.
