Objectives of the visit

• Providing input for a workshop on e-learning
• On the occasion the AUF offices have visited, and prospects for organising a surplace workshop/ seminar for Syrian HERE have been discussed.

Workshop organised by HEREs in collaboration with the Directorate General of Higher Education

• Presentation on e-learning in Europe
• Chairing of sessions
• Participation in panel discussion and floor discussions
• Active participation in preparation meeting and debriefing

Participants targeted

Around 50 participants from universities, but also associations, networks agencies, incl. UNESCO and AUF

Main ‘take-aways’ from the perspective of the expert

• High interest into the issue
• the workshop seems to have helped to convince MoE to open up for e-learning and to establish a task force on the issue (at least these were among the conclusions presented (see also http://erasmusplus-lebanon.org/sites/default/files/Summary%20and%20Recommendations.pdf )
