Upcoming TAM: International Academic Mobility management improvement - a boost for HEI Internationalisation (Moldova)

Friday, 16 November, 2018 to Saturday, 17 November, 2018

Moldovan HEI have progressed in international cooperation and have recently won various international academic mobility projects. As a result, the International Relations Offices in Moldovan universities are confronted with new responsabilities and departments (chairs, deans) and their staff are challenged to incorporate new procedures for international mobility (selection, recognition, grading etc.). In order to overcome these new challenges, there is need for capacity building in the institutional management of international academic mobility. The aims of this seminar are:

  • To learn how to manage international cooperation: agreements, student and academic staff exchanges and funding opportunities;
  • To learn about the cooperaton of different university departments in the development of internationalisation at their HEI;
  • To improve mechanisms for managing and monitoring incoming and outgoing mobility activities;
  • To improve the undestanding of the grading and grading tables needed to support student mobility.

The seminar will be attended by Mr. Filippo Sartor, Coordinator of the AlmaMater Studiorum and from the University of Bologna, Italy.
