The session will be an open forum for HERE to discuss some of the trends in the HE sector that are affecting QA (how it is conducted, how it is reformed, etc): Internationalisation, technology/open and distance learning, etc.

11:45 Session 6:  Institutional Responsibility for QA: Building quality culture

           Sirpa Suntioinen, Quality Manager, University of Eastern Finland  (25 minutes + discussion)

           The speaker will provide an example from her own institution. A discussion will follow.

Three break out groups, each moderated by a European speaker.

Participants will be asked to share challenges and also good practices – Outcome should be a list of five conditions for building institutional quality culture capacity and five concrete steps that HERE could take to support this in their countries.
