Upcoming TAM: Why and How to Build Strong Sustainable International Alumni Networks (Israel)

Dates:
Wednesday, 3 July, 2019 to Thursday, 4 July, 2019

The Israeli HERE work plan for 2018-2020 will continue to focus on three topics that are of highest relevance to the Israeli Higher Education sector: internationalisation, Innovation in Teaching and Learning and Industry-Academia cooperation.

In this context and in order to to build better capacities within the HEIs, a seminar is scheduled for 3-4 July that will focuses on the importance of international alumni networks.  Alumni networks contribute to sustainable academia-industry cooperation and foster future connections with other institutions. This is because Alumni networks also serve as a networking tool to allow a trusting and cooperative environment between organisations that former students will be associated with.

With this seminar, participants will be able to:

  • understand the importance of structuring alumni networks
  • learn about the different benefits and strategies behind building international alumni networks
  • acquire practical tools to structure and sustain networks

The seminar will be attended Ms. Sandra Rincón, co-founder and president of the Holland Alumni network Netherlands
