This year, the Students’ Parliament of the University of Montenegro (SPUM) is helding the 75th Board Meeting of the European Students’ Union and seminar "Combating Challenges in Higher Education". SPUM is organizing this event together with the umbrella organization of students in Europe – European Students’ Union, cooperating and joining efforts in order to prepare the Board meeting.
The event will be held from 25th November to 1st December, having Board meeting from 28th to 30th November in hotel Palas, Budva, in the capital of Montenegrin tourism and a very attractive destination.
The European Students’ Union (ESU) is the umbrella organization of 45 National Unions of Students (NUS) from 39 countries. The NUSes are open to all students in their respective country regardless of political persuasion, religion, ethnic or cultural origin, sexual orientation or social standing. Their members are also student-run, autonomous, representative and operate according to democratic principles. The aim of ESU is to represent and promote the educational, social, economic and cultural interests of students at the European level towards all relevant bodies and in particular the European Union, Bologna Follow Up Group, Council of Europe and UNESCO. Through its members, ESU represents almost 20 million students in Europe.
